1. Information We Collect
pinkira ("this app") stores all data you record — your child's photos, voice recordings, words (such as mispronunciations as text), your child's name, and date of birth — locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers, and we cannot view or collect it.
2. Handling of Your Child's Photos and Audio
This app is intended for use by parents and guardians. Your child's photos and voice recordings are stored only on your device and are not transmitted externally. We may request access to the microphone and photo library (or camera) for recording and capturing, but the photos and audio obtained are never used for advertising or analytics purposes.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
This app uses Google AdMob as its advertising network on screens such as the word-collection list (no ads are shown on the recording screens that children operate). AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process the following information for ad delivery and measurement:
• Device identifiers
• Coarse location (city-level, derived from IP address)
• App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks, etc.)
• Diagnostics (crash data, performance data)
The advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for personalized ads only if you grant permission under App Tracking Transparency (see the next section). If you decline or have not chosen, the app serves Non-Personalized Ads. For details, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob Help.
4. App Tracking Transparency
This app may ask for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency), for example on first launch. This is a choice about whether to personalize the ads described above, and permission is optional. You can use all features of this app without granting it. You can change this setting at any time from the iOS Settings app.
5. Data Storage
All user data (photos, audio, words, and child information) is stored only on your device and is not shared externally through iCloud or otherwise. Deleting this app also removes this data from your device. We recommend separately preserving important records via device backups as needed.
6. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. The data described in section 3 above is shared with Google for ad delivery purposes; we do not share information with any other third parties.
