Midnight Memo Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
Midnight Memo ("this app") stores the memo text and timestamps you enter only on your device, using Apple SwiftData. None of this data is sent to our servers or any third party.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
This app displays a Google AdMob banner ad only at the bottom of the memo list screen (no ads are shown on the writing or practice screens). For ad delivery and measurement, AdMob may collect and process the following on behalf of Google and its advertising partners: device identifiers (anonymous campaign IDs based on Apple SKAdNetwork), approximate location (city-level, derived from IP address), app interaction data (ad impressions and clicks), and diagnostic data (crashes and performance). This app runs in Non-Personalized Ads mode and does not collect IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers). For details, see the Google Privacy Policy and the AdMob Help Center.
3. App Tracking Transparency
Because this app does not collect IDFA, the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission dialog is never shown.
4. Analytics and Tracking
This app does not integrate any third-party analytics SDK such as Firebase Analytics or Mixpanel. We do not transmit any custom usage telemetry to our servers.
5. Data Storage
All memos are stored on your device using Apple SwiftData. There is no automatic cloud backup or cross-device sync. Data may be lost if the device is lost or the app is uninstalled.
6. Haptic Feedback
This app uses CoreHaptics to provide tactile feedback (vibrations) for input confirmation. No data is collected or transmitted from this feature.
7. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. For ad delivery, the data described in section 2 is shared with Google. No other third-party sharing takes place.
8. Children's Privacy
This app's age rating is 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
