bimoji is an app for practicing beautiful handwriting on iPad with Apple Pencil, by tracing example characters. No scoring, no tests. It includes over 1,100 characters — hiragana, katakana, kanji, and full sentences — each with correct stroke order.

Where are my practice records stored?
The practice count and last-practiced date for each character are stored only on your device. They are never sent to our servers.
Can I use this without an Apple Pencil?
Yes, you can trace with your finger as well. For a better writing feel, we recommend an iPad that supports Apple Pencil.
Can I use this on iPhone?
Yes, iPhone is supported, but given the nature of handwriting practice, we recommend an iPad with its larger screen and Apple Pencil support.
Are ads shown?
This app shows banner ads and occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads after certain actions.
Does the app tell me if my stroke order is wrong?
This app is designed without scoring or judgment. It displays a faint model with the correct stroke order for you to trace, so you naturally absorb proper stroke order through practice.
Which iOS versions and devices are supported?
bimoji supports iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later.
